Historical Data
Introduction
Historical data for most products can be accessed in DEXTER. Dexter is the Data EXploration and exporTER tool developed by NDW in 2019 (internally). Dexter is the platform where historical data from NDW is made available. Historical data refers to data older than one minute. Real-time data thus becomes historical data over time. Not all data is available to all users, nor is every functionality. Depending on the user profile, certain functionalities may be accessible. Dexter is divided into an explorer, export, reporting, and open data section. The explorer section allows quick data search, using hourly data instead of minute data. The export section allows data downloads in various formats, always using the smallest possible aggregate as the source. The reporting section contains several commonly used tables and charts that can be accessed there. The open data section https://dexter.ndw.nu/opendata provides a limited set of open data available from the export section.
